New Quarantine Rules For Returning Canadians

The Federal Government of Canada has changed the quarantine rules for international travellers arriving at the major Canadian airports.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced new travel restrictions for international travellers. PM Trudeau said that these new restrictions are applied to alarm the random travels and scale down the increase of more infectious variants of COVID-19. On Friday outside Rideau Cottage PM Trudeau said:

“With the challenges, we currently face with COVID-19, both here and abroad, we all agree that now is just not the time to be flying. By putting in place these tough measures now, we can look forward to a better time, when we can all plan those vacations”.

Starting this week, all international travellers entering the major Canadian airports will have to accomplish a compulsory three-day quarantine, once they land in any airport in Canada. This is a very mandatory mark to put an end to the contagious virus from entering our country.

Those Canadians who are planning to travel outside Canada in near future should sneak a peek at these new rules and restrictions. These new restrictions are not meant to trouble Canadians but to keep everyone safe. Formerly, the Quarantine Act stated that all travellers had to complete a mandatory fourteen-day quarantine period at home but…
